If you have a confirmed booking with Urban car hire and you source the same vehicle from the same location with the same conditions,we will refund you the difference between the two rates and give you 10% discount of your next Urban Car Hire Reservation.

This must be verifiable online from other internet suppliers only or to people who may hold special discount codes not normally available to the public.

Rental Conditions

(step 1) Car hire Rental conditions differ from country to country and company to company. You must check these conditions thoroughly in your quotation.

(step 2) On the quotation page for you carhire you can find the rental conditions by clicking on the icon located to the right of the car type.

(Step 3) You can also find them on the third and final step of the booking process at the bottom of the comfirmation page.

Tips

Make sure you have your Drivers licence,Hire Voucher and a Visa or Mastercard Credit card Ensure your vehicle is of an adequate size for ALL your needs

Read the rental agreement carefully at the hire desk so that you understand the insurance details Read the car supplers term and conditions carefully

Check the car for damage with your agent present and get this agreeded

Ensure all additional equipment requested on the booking form is included

When returning the vehicle check any additional marks/damage and agree it with the agent.

Collision Damage Waiver

This means your liability for damage caused to the rental vehicle is relinquished if it is involved in a collision.The Waiver is limited to a certain amount and often excludes glass(windows etc) tyres and any towing.The Waiver usually carries an excess/deductible of a certain amount;this means that the renter will be liable for a certain amount e.g.In France the amount for some vehicles in over 400 euros.

Vehicle Theft Waiver

This removes or reduces the renter's liability for the attempted theft or theft of the rented vehicle.The waiver may carry an excess/deductible amount,which means that the renter will be liable for a certain amount of the value of the vehicle damaged or stolen,for example up to the first £1500 of the damage.

Liability Insurance

Every country has a minimum insurance requirement.This covers the renter's liability for any damage caused to other people and property.This limit is usually limited to £1,000,000. The insurance is limited and there may be excess i.e. you may be liable for any amount over and above the value of the insurance.

Breakdown Assistance

All the vehicle suppliers have a national assistance should the renter require it .Please ask at your location desk for the number and contact details at the time of rental

Unlimited Mileage

Unlimited milage is included in our rates.

Other companies charge mileage and use it against depreciation.

25 - 76 years

Drivers license:

Driver must hold a full license for a minimum of 2 years with no major endorsements

Additional Driver (no need to prebook)

Charge per additional driver: £7.50 GBP per day (includes 17.5% tax); not included in rate shown

Special Equipment/Optional:

Infant child seat: £25.00 GBP including 17.5% tax

Child toddler seat: £25.00 GBP including 17.5% tax

Fuel policy (fuel is not included in the rental price)

Voucher

You must produce your voucher on arrival at rental counter. Failure to give the rental agent your voucher, means we cannot be held responsible for any additional charges. No refunds will be entertained unless Agent received voucher from Renter.

Please note: we are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on collection of the vehicle

Cancellation Procedure

If you wish to cancel your booking your can only do so by calling the numbers shown below.This must be no less than 24hrs before the collection rental is due.

To cancel a reservation please call us on the relevant number below,making sure you have your reservation ID in hand which was sent to you on the confirmation email when you booked .
